  1. I'm interested in how to tone or firm up the derriere.
    I prefer using machines/resistance training, (ie life strength, cybex, etc.)
    what exercises do you recommend?

  2. If you wanna have some hard rock butt cybex should be throw out.lol.You need some free weight.(I dont know how many dings I put on my car just by resting my butt on it.)lol.
    Butt is part of leg and you should like doing leg exercises.
    The effective exercise you should do to firm up your butt is SQUAT.(Do 12 to 15 reps of light squat.)LUNGES (do 15 to 20 reps of long steps walking lunges using barbell bar).
    Deadlift(12 to 15 reps ,(make sure you squeeze your butt(glutes) when you bring the weight up).
    These three exercises if done right will firm up your derriere and one good benefit of these exercises is that you will be cellulite free.
    Riding bike,kickboxing,glute activations exercises, leg abduction and adduction exercises will work your derriere but not as good as the first three ones which I call legs killer exercises.
    Any toning exercise has to be done with high reps and light weight.High rep is between 12 to 30 reps depending on your strength.
